It begins with svart sopp, a rich and dark soup made from goose blood with a hint of port wine. The main course is a whole roasted goose, crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside, served with potatoes, red cabbage, prunes, and apples—a true taste of Skåne’s local ingredients. Finish the meal with a classic Skåne apple cake, topped with cream or vanilla sauce. This traditional dinner is a culinary journey through Skåne’s rich heritage.
