Simrishamn prides itself on being home to one of Europe's foremost car museums, showcasing rarities from the early 1900´s onwards. You will also find scooters, motorcycles, helicopters, and much more. Additionally, there is a music museum, a large toy museum, exhibitions on model aircraft, Swedish motorsporting history, and a separate exhibition on legendary Swedish driver Stefan "Lill-Lövis" Johansson. Glimmingehus

Glimmingehus

Glimmingehus is the best-preserved mediaeval castle in Scandinavia. Building work started in1499, when Skåne was Danish, by the knight Jens Ulfstand. Fortified to withstand attack, it features a moat, drawbridge, and holes for pouring hot tar on enemies below! The castle is now a museum with a mediaeval kitchen, an exhibition of archaeological finds and a museum shop. In Summer, there are guided tours and mediaeval-inspired activities for both children and adults.

Throughout the year, Gunnarshög´s Farm offers activities for all ages. There is a café, a farmshop, a playground, and guided farm tours. At Easter, the popular rapeseed jumping-pit opens. Ebbe and Vera, the farm's dog and cat, often welcome visitors and love being petted.

Naturum Stenshuvuds nationalpark

The landscape is very diverse, featuring lush meadows where cows graze in Summer, rich dense forests and long shallow beaches. Those who have the energy to climb the 97-meter-high Stenshuvud top are rewarded with a fantastic view of Hanö Bay. Naturum serves as the park's visitor centre, hosting an exhibition on the National Park and its flora and fauna with easy-to-read texts. Children can enjoy activities like quizzes, colouring and reading story books.

The Österlen Steam Train

Sweden's most beautiful railway route runs between St. Olof and Brösarp. At 40 km/h you experience the scenic and varied landscape of Österlen; over the Brösarp Hills, through villages and lush forests, and across rolling fields. Different types of locomotives built between 1898 and 1942 pull carriages from different eras and with a very varying degree of comfort.

In Skåne's largest amusement park, there is something for everyone! The water park features attractions adapted to children of varying age, with many water slides and nine pools.
