Marie Juhlin talks about her father Bertil "Kitte" Persson, whose articles about Ystad will be this year's Ystadiana. "Kitte" was born in Soldalen and remained faithful to Ystad all his life. With a varied career as a clothes salesman, ceramicist and sports journalist, his interest in Ystad and the town's history, but above all its inhabitants, increased over the years. There were many books about our city, about the harbor and some about the sports clubs.
