Viking life with Halvdan and Meia
Viking life at Halvdan and Meia is a play exhibition where you can join us on a journey back to Viking times. How did the Vikings live? What did they eat and what gods did they believe in?
The play exhibit consists of six cabins; chieftain's house, forge, sacrificial house, bakery and dining house, barn and weaving shed. All houses are available for play. Around the village runs a palisade with piers at the entrance where a Viking ship is moored.
Viking life with Halvdan and Meia has been produced by Barnutställningen.nu. The exhibition is based on the children's books about Halvdan Viking and Meia, written by Martin Widmark and illustrated by Mats Vänehem.
