In the summer of 2024, the newly established Hagestad Summer Theater will stage Three Sisters in Österlen. The venue is a beautiful old barn in Hagestad, which will temporarily transform into a theater.

Three Sisters is a play that touches on existential questions, grand dreams, and persistent efforts to cope with harsh realities. The play depicts people grappling with eternal dilemmas about how to live their lives and shape their future.

Hagestad Summer Theater aims to create a performance at this unique location that encompasses multiple parallel times and frames Chekhov’s comedic and sharp portrayal of human life within the idyllic setting of Skåne's summer.
