We are in Stockholm's inventors' club in 1897. In the club's meeting room, the inventors Alfred Nobel, Gustaf De Laval and Ivar Kreuger argue over who will win the club's weekly inventor competition. Then Alfred Nobel announces a new competition. Whoever invents or implements the most useful of benefits wins a whole million riksdaler! Engineer Salomon August Andrée, also a member of the inventors' club, strikes big and sets off in the hot air balloon Örnen on a revolutionary expedition to the North Pole. As a crew, he gets both strength and genius in the form of the bonnato girl Greta and the photographer Knut Frænkel. It is precisely then that Nobel finds out that all the prizes awarded have completely emptied his wallet and he is then left without a million to give in the award ceremony - he simply has to stop the expedition. How will engineer Andrée and his crew fare? And who will win Nobel's coveted million?

The Toddyspex have been active on the spex scene in Lund since 1895, which makes them one of Sweden's oldest spex, with annual tours to Ystad since 1978. In the spirit of students, humor and intrigue are mixed for a truly unique experience.
