The Art of Music Tour 24 @ Ales Stenar
The Art of Music Tour 24 at Ales Stenar, Sweden
On Saturday, July 27th, two hours before the sun fades away, John Mig is taking his
global radio show to Ales Stenar for a two-hour performance where he will mix
Electronic Music with Melodic and Progressive Techno. Joining him will be Lemna
Minor, a passionate musician from Germany, playing the Nyckelharpa.
John Mig, an Electronic Music DJ/Producer with over 20 years of experience, is
hosting this electronic music concert at Ales Stenar as part of his third-year global
tour, “The Art of Music,” which is also linked to his radio show. This tour aims to
showcase historical and beautiful places around the world through live electronic
music performances, allowing people to experience these locations in a new and
immersive way.
In this event, John will blend the rich sounds of a traditional instrument with
electronic music. His vision is to merge these sounds, creating a unique and
captivating experience that honors tradition while pushing creative boundaries. For
this instance, John Mig will have a special guest, Lemna Minor from Germany, who
will perform live alongside him, playing the Nyckelharpa, the traditional instrument
of Sweden. The organic sound of the Nyckelharpa creates a beautiful contrast when
paired with the dynamic range of electronic music, producing something truly
magical.
John aims to create a live performance that highlights the distinctiveness of both
traditional and electronic genres, combining them innovatively while respecting
their roots. The concert at Ales Stenar is a part of this vision, aiming to offer a
memorable cultural experience at one of Sweden’s most iconic landmarks.
Additionally, each concert is part of a larger project where we create a cinematic
movie. We record the event, along with spectacular aerial footage, to produce a
stunning visual and auditory experience. This movie will be shared on YouTube,
highlighting both the music and the beauty of the location, extending the
experience to a global audience.
The concert will start at 19:00 at Ales Stenar, where the monolithic stones stand,
and is free for everyone. Come and experience with us the love of nature and
Electronic Music combined with the traditional analog sound of the Nyckelharpa.
