Theme days: medieval construction

Master bricklayer Henrik Nilsson from HN Byggnadsvård, will show how arches were built in the Middle Ages. In addition, roofer Ola Lejonklo from Nårligt Byggnadshantverk will be on site to demonstrate traditional thatched roof construction, with both reeds and straw.

There will also be other activities related to medieval construction and building conservation, where you can, for example, try out mud brick making, painting, architectural assignments from the master builder in the castle, making ropes and lots of other things!
