Sverker Göransson is an officer and was the Supreme Commander of Sweden between 2009 and 2015. Immediately before the position of Supreme Commander, he was the Chief of Staff at the highest command of the Armed Forces – Headquarters. Since 2017, he has been the chairman of the Swedish Veterans Association.
