Theatre and Soup at Ystads Teater
During the 70s and 80s, Johnny was the kitchen manager for the Nobel dinners for a total of 11 years. In connection with that, Johnny received the Nobel Foundation's gold medal for his efforts. Johnny Johansson has been involved as a lecturer in the Cooking School at Passion För Mat since the start. As a chef, Johnny is passionate about preserving and developing traditional classic food.
Johnny also ran the gourmet restaurant Wärdshuset Lassa Maja in Stockholm during the 80s and 90s. In the square outside Wärdshuset, he created summer theater together with Börje Ahlstedt, among others. He contributed to the book "Till bords med Strindberg" by preparing Strindberg's favorite dishes based on original recipes. Johnny has also been with the national chef team and participated in the food Olympics, as well as competing in Chef of the Year and winning the National Dish of the Year competition and also received the Werner of the Year award.
Today, Johnny has been working on the boat M/S Molly in Stockholm for 12 years. After a turning point (he realized he had an unfulfilled dream), Johnny has been painting pictures. He exhibits, and continues to combine painted art with food art. Think we have unsuspected talents! Dreams can come true. Johnny talks about how it all comes together!
