Herring Day

IN SIMRISHAMN, herring and herring fishing have been significant for a long time. Therefore, we have dedicated a special day to herring, which is a cherished tradition and a celebration for all ages. This year, Herring Day will also feature a seaweed festival, promoting seaweed as food and loal seaweed farming in Österlen. During Herring Day, Harvest Time in Österlen will also begin, where you can experience the harvests, food, crafts and culture throughout Österlen. You are warmly welcome to celebrate with us!
