The mustard tree and the birds of the air

Exhibition with Siri Derkert and Theresa Traore Dahlberg.
Despite almost a hundred years between their birth, Siri Derkert, who was one of the true pioneers of the 20th century, resonates right into Theresa Traore Dahlberg's artistry. In this exhibition, Derkert's concrete works have inspired Traore Dahlberg to completely new glass works. Floating freely in the air, the clear glass meets the heavy concrete. Both of these artists experiment with a range of different materials that will also be shown at this summer's exhibition. In addition to glass and concrete works, Derkert's works of strip iron, sheet metal carvings and Traore Dahlberg's sculptures are also shown.
