Sandhammarens Fyr 160 år - återinvigning!

In 2023, the Sandhammaren Lighthouse was renovated and also celebrated its 160th anniversary, and we want to celebrate! Since 1978, the lighthouse site has been a state-protected historic building and holds great cultural and historical value. The lighthouse tower is the first all-iron construction by lighthouse engineer Gustaf von Heidenstam, and it is well-preserved both externally and internally.

On May 18 at 13:00, you have the opportunity to participate in the celebration organized by the Sandhammaren Lighthouse Association, the Swedish Lighthouse Society, and the Swedish Maritime Administration.
