Songs from the flat land

Johan Rabaeus, Pia Williamson, Tova Svanfeldt (vocalists), Harald Leander (vocalist, musician), Johan Olsson and Filip Runesson (musicians) interpret Jacques Brel's music and lyrics.

Several of the participants have long had Brel in their respective repertoires and Harald Leander has also made several appreciated translations and his own interpretations of Brel's lyrics.

Swedish and French texts will be alternated, singing will be interleaved with spoken texts and solo performances with sing-alongs. The title "Songs from the flat country" alludes to "Le plat pays" (The flat country), which Harald translated and which instead of Belgium describes Skåne.

We will open the gates one and a half hours before each performance and then there will be the opportunity to eat. The food will be Belgian-inspired, as will the drinks of course!
