Peter Picasso - Peter Johansson

In 2023, it will have been 50 years since Pablo Picasso passed away. It will also mark 45 years since the premiere of the film "Picasso's Adventures," directed by Tage Danielsson, much of which was filmed in Tomelilla. The film starred notable figures such as Hans Alfredson, Gösta Ekman, and Margaretha Krook.

When the artist Peter Johansson was invited to exhibit at the Tomelilla Art Hall in 2023, he suddenly had a vision: to create an exhibition inspired by "Picasso's Adventures"!

Throughout the summer, the Tomelilla Art Hall, the Hasse & Tage Museum, and the town square in Tomelilla will host Peter Johansson's grand art project, "Peter Picasso."

Site-specific installations and sets will serve as backdrops for a series of short films.
