Canadian/Swedish painter Jennifer Saxell has created her own style - it could be called naive pop art. With an innate sense of color and form, she plays with reality. The result is surreal, patchwork-like images where the landscapes sway and the houses dance - vibrant and colorful, filled with individual details that live their own lives. Her images convey joy but also sadness, openness and secrets in a combination of the familiar and the unpredictable.
