Operation Valkyria
In a joint event with Borrby Bio, we invite you to an afternoon you don't want to miss!
80 years ago, world history could have had a new run. A group of German officers detonated a bomb in a conference room where Adolf Hitler was present, but he survived. One of the assassins was General Erich Fellgiebel. He was Barbara Fellgiebel's grandfather. Journalist, lecturer and writer Barbara Fellgiebel describes the memories of her grandfather and his civil courage, but also about how the family was affected, when she tells from the stage at Borrby cinema. To conclude, we screen the feature film "Valkyria" with Tom Cruise in the role of Claus von Stauffenberg and Eddie Izzard in the role of Erich Fellgiebel.
