About Martin Buber

July 29th is Dag Hammarskjöld's birthday. This year marks 120 years since he was born. We celebrate his day with a conversation about the philosopher Martin Buber's thoughts on human relations and dialogue.

Dag Hammarskjöld was greatly inspired by Martin Buber's humanistic approach to human relations and dialogue. They exchanged letters and met twice. During Hammarskjöld's last trip, he worked on translating Buber's book "I and You" into Swedish.

Conversation at Backåkra with K.G. Hammar, Archbishop Emeritus, and Ulrica Fritzson, Bishop of Skara.
