A textile exhibition honoring Inger Gegerfelt, a duktig flicka who pursued her creative life not because of, but in spite of, the circumstances she lived in.

The exhibition reflects on creativity pushed to the margins—where "real life" takes priority, and artistic expression is often constrained by daily responsibilities. Through her works, Danette Quartey explores themes of courage, support, and the conditions necessary for creativity to thrive.
