When Åke's mother forgot is a performance loosely based on Pija Lindenbaum's beloved picture book of the same name. A story about how a child experiences the stressful everyday life of an adult, and about what happens when the roles are reversed and the child suddenly needs to take care of their parent.
The whole thing is told in a playful and humorous way, with many catchy song numbers.
