Music lesson Östra Herrestad's church

In connection with the weekend mass ringing in Östra Herrestad's church at 18.00 Saturdays in July you have the opportunity to visit a unique church that is otherwise closed. With origins from the 12th century and unique wall paintings from the late Middle Ages, it is a gem among Österlen's churches and an inspiring environment for a musical experience. In connection with the ringing, the village team arranges musical moments that last just over half an hour.
In the church there is a fine organ from the beginning of the last century. Andreas Hansson, trumpet and Simon Törnqvist organ, present a program based on the romantic idiom of the organ. Music by i.a. Reger, Saint-seans, Alain and Bozza are on the program.
