Music lesson in Östra Herrestad Church

Every Saturday in July, the village association opens the church to the public. It dates back to the 14th century and has somewhat unique ceiling paintings from the late 15th century. The size of the church, which can accommodate just under 100 people, creates a dense atmosphere with excellent acoustic proximity to the music that is presented. Music that can be of all kinds. No musical moments without an organ program. We are proud of our organ and have had many fine organists visit us over the years. This year we are being visited by Thomas Wallin, who performs a spectrum of compositions that suit the romantically colored organ.
