Mimi Terris and Mats Andersson will perform their newly written compositions based on the Brazilian music tradition with Swedish lyrics. Mats Andersson's melodies and Mimi Terris' lyrics combine to create an enchanting mix of Swedish melancholy and Brazilian swing.

According to one reviewer, singer Mimi Terris "has carved out her own niche within Swedish jazz" and, in addition to two albums with her own septet, she has performed with Svante Thuresson and the Danish Radio Big Band, among others. Mats Andersson holds a leading role in Sweden regarding the Brazilian music tradition and has played with Miriam Aïda, Joyce Moreno, Marco Pereira, and Rosalia de Souza.
