Martin Lönegren is one of Sweden's most dedicated and hard-working singer-songwriters, with over 100 gigs and almost 30 newly written songs in the last 18 months. Since September 2023, he has released a number of singles, an EP and a featuring with the Dimpker Brothers and in May 2025 he will release his debut album Waterline and embark on an extensive tour.
His music is clearly rooted in the Americana tradition, with influences from artists such as The Band, Bruce Springsteen and Joni Mitchell. But it also carries a Scandinavian melancholy and thoughtfulness that makes it unique.
