Malmö Opera on a truck - Falstaff

For the second time, Tomelilla is visited by Malmö Opera's truck. This time with the performance Falstaff by Verdi. The truck is transformed into a mobile laundry. Three fresh, cheerful and efficient ladies work here: the owner Mrs. Ford, her daughter Nanetta and Mrs. Quickly. One day, the old and lice-ridden nobleman Falstaff stumbles into the laundry. He thinks of the sun-and-our Mrs. Ford and the laundry's regular customer Meg, who both have plenty of money. Things don't go as he had planned.

Giuseppe Verdi borrowed the plot of Falstaff from Shakespeare. It is a fast-paced and funny opera that has been adapted for touring and given a slightly refreshed translation.
