Möjland - a fantastic hall DOUBLE

Finally an exhibition about imagination and why it is so important! On Saturday 26 October, "MÖJLAND - a fantasy hall" opens at Ystad's art museum

When you walk around the exhibition, you will come across fantastic tools in the form of words that are not in the dictionary and things that look different than they are used to in your everyday life. It can be a word such as reality, night lantern or a pair of keyhole glasses. What is imagination, where is it and what do we need it for? Is it possible to train in imagination? In our fantasy hall, you will also get to invent words and maybe use them when you write with our fantasy tools.

Carina Bodelson Lönn and Magnus Lönn have their workshops in Norra Björstorp. They have produced a number of exhibitions, workshops and books that explore the borderland between letter, image and word. Magnus Lönn's books "Bullerkytta" and "Fantastikboken" are read by many, young and old.

Warm welcome!

During the opening day on October 26, everyone is welcome to create themselves with paper, pencil, scissors and chalk in the Lilla atelier. Why not try making your own "mixed words" or "drawing with letters?" On the day of the opening, the artists Carina Bodelson Lönn and Magnus Lönn, who created the exhibition, will also be there, and it's extra festive in our studios.
