Lisa Nilsson meets Norrbotten Big Band

Lisa Nilsson is one of Scandinavia's leading singers and a versatile artist who is also an actor and dancer; she also writes music and lyrics. In this concert, she and her recurring collaborator Norrbotten Big Band will perform both beloved pop and soul classics, signed by Burt Bacharach and Donny Hathaway, among others, as well as new songs from the album "Uteblivna vi", which was released in March this year.

"Uteblivna vi" is Lisa Nilsson's first studio album since 2013, ten songs, several of which were newly written by the artist herself in collaboration with Andreas Mattsson, Jens Hult, Martin Hederos and Johan Lindström, also arranger and Lisa Nilsson's co-producer. In an interview in DN in connection with the album release, Lisa Nilsson describes Johan Lindström's sound worlds as "the soundtrack to my feelings". Among the prominent musicians who participate on the album is Norrbotten Big Band's bassist Petter Olofsson.
