Images of knowledge

During the late 19th century and much of the 20th century, posters were used to illustrate teaching in Swedish schools. The YF – Ystad Cultural History Society’s collections contain school posters with biblical, botanical, zoological and historical motifs, among others. A selection of them is shown in the exhibition.
