Kulturarvsdagarna: 100 år i statens ägo

Heritage Days is the annual event organized by the Swedish National Heritage Board (Riksantikvarieämbetet), where local organizers host hundreds of different events throughout the country.

The theme for 2024 is "The Paths, Nodes, and Meeting Places of Culture," which highlights how people have moved and met throughout history—both then and now.

To mark the occasion, we are offering a combined lecture and guided tour led by Unit Manager Jan Olofsson. This tour will explore how Glimmingehus, as a destination, has developed since its donation to the state—exactly 100 years ago!

The tour will take place from 13:00 to 15:00 on both Saturday and Sunday, starting from the brew house in the castle courtyard. It is included in the regular admission fee but must be pre-booked at glimmingehus.ebiljett.nu. There are limited places available.
