Cultural Heritage Day: Treasures from the Coffin Chamber

Welcome to take a look behind the scenes in the museum magazine Garvaren! During one day we take a closer look at folk furniture painted by some of the most famous and prominent furniture painters in Österlen. Experts Dennis Hällje and Felicia Lindblom show some of the gems among the chests, caskets and cabinets from the collections. In the textile magazine, antiquarian Mari Hansen shows tablecloths, cushions, bed linen and other textiles that were stored in the chests. The focus is on objects from Ingar's chest from Brantevik. The museum staff shows how we work with the collections in the magazine Garvaren. We end the afternoon with coffee at cost price. Limited number of places.
