Khala Uma folk music from the Andes

Khala Uma
From the Andes to the Skåne Plain

Khala Uma collectively composes their own music in the Andean tradition. With vocals and various flutes, drums, guitar and charrango. With rhythms from the Andes and melodies influenced by folk music from Sweden and the rest of the world. In Khala Uma's newly written music, winds from the Andean high plateau blow together with the sounds of the Skåne plain in the song. The songs are performed in Aymara, Spanish and Swedish and are interspersed with short stories about their travels between Sweden and Bolivia. Stories revolve around Awicha / Farmor in Bolivia but also about Mormor in Skåne. Suitable for the whole family!
