For both the audience and artists, the perfect way to round off a day filled with musical experiences is, of course, a jam session, where a jazz star or two is likely to show up and join in. They just can't resist!

The house band features Jonathan Dafgård (guitar), Hilda Nordkvist (bass), and Marcus Karlsson (drums). Jonathan Dafgård returned to Sweden at the beginning of the year after musical collaborations in the Netherlands and studies in jazz guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. The newly formed trio has its own compositions in their repertoire, which also includes interpretations of pieces by jazz icons like Billy Strayhorn and Joe Henderson.

The jazz festival jam is being held for the second year in a row at Bar & Brygga in Ystad Marina. A huge success last year!
