Inauguration of Objects - of the Mind

SARA Academy is visiting Österlen Museum for the third summer in a row. This year, the exhibition consists partly of still lifes, partly of free creative works made in everything from etching to oil. Exhibiting artists are SARA students and alumni. An exciting feature of the exhibition is that in some works the students have worked with borrowed objects from Österlen Museum's collections. The more creative works are created from the imagination and beyond the more strict depiction of reality. It is an exciting collection where the quiet observation of the object contrasts with the wild imagination. The exhibition opens on 28/6 and runs until 24/8.
