In Taube's Footsteps - Lasse Kronér

Evert Taube, one of our great folk singers and national poets, a poet and a person who left a deep mark on the Swedish folk soul and music history. Now Lasse Kronér is going on tour with his friend, guitarist and bandleader Per Hovensjö and Rebecca Meiselbach on perch to pay tribute to perhaps the greatest of all – Evert Taube!

"In Taube's Footsteps" invites the audience on a journey filled with laughter, anecdotes and of course many fantastic interpretations of Evert's greatest hits or as Lasse himself describes it:

"Throughout my life his music has been with me, throughout my career his stories have been told to me and I have been lucky enough to hear them from the closest sources.

I have walked the heights of Colla Bella, I have slept right under Vinga lighthouse and also slept in Taube's parental home on the same island. I have walked on the pampas. And even traveled far to get to Samborombom.

So why not. It may sound pompous to talk about in his footsteps. But let's discover the roads together. A performance filled with laughter, joy and lots of fantastic stories and Evert's music in my own way. "
