How do we talk to children about the climate?
How do we talk to our children (and grandchildren!) about the climate?
How do we deal with climate anxiety, shame, anger and other emotions that come from living in an unsustainable world? The reports about the rampant climate crisis are becoming increasingly doom-laden and we must of course talk about this. Even with our children and grandchildren. But how do we do it without our negative emotions being transmitted to the children? Climate Initiative Simrishamn, together with the Rebel Mothers in Simrishamn, have invited climate psychologist Frida Hylander to lecture on the issue and there will be room for discussion and questions. https://www.facebook.com/share/1891BHN8xr/?mibextid=wwXIfr
Frida Hylander is a licensed psychologist, specialist psychologist in psychological treatment/psychotherapy and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Ecology. Frida has extensive experience in giving lectures and workshops on climate psychology, climate anxiety and large-scale change.
