Holmqvist x2: watercolor & oil in Hagestad

Anders Holmqvist and Mattias Holmqvist, father and son, have a joint exhibition in Hagestad Sat-Sun 12-13 July.

Anders Holmqvist fell in love with watercolor painting at an early age. He often finds his motifs in southeastern Skåne, and most of them are within cycling distance of the combined home and gallery in Hagestad. His son Mattias now prefers to paint in oil, and many of his motifs are taken from the same Österlen landscape.

The exhibition in Hagestad is open Saturday and Sunday 12-13 July from 11 am to 4 pm. Signs show the way from the coastal road near Backåkra hostel.
