Hagestad Summer Theatre presents Three Sisters

Hagestad Summer Theatre has a long-awaited new premiere of its acclaimed and sold-out performance Three Sisters. The venue is a beautiful old barn in Hagestad that has been transformed into a theater where Chekhov's comic and razor-sharp depiction of people's lives is framed by the Skåne summer idyll. Eleven actors portray Chekhov's fascinating and entertaining characters in a musical production where newly arranged versions of familiar songs are performed live by the ensemble.
Three Sisters is a play that touches on existential questions, grand dreams and persistent attempts to deal with the bitter reality. The play depicts people who struggle with eternal dilemmas about how to live our lives and shape our future.
