The memory of the wise Brännerista Bengta (1872-1950) is still alive in the village! She was our parish's wise old woman and knew everything about herbs but also had other knowledge such as healing from a distance. She was also psychic... There are many stories about how she cured both people and animals!

Flowers, bees and cows - everything is connected! The great importance of natural pastures for biodiversity is now compared to the rainforests in species richness!
