Imagine getting a sneak peek behind the scenes of a theater rehearsal – a world filled with creative ideas, chaos, passion and sometimes pure madness!
In Lutz Hübner’s charming and insightful play Gretchen, various directors and actors try to interpret and perform the “scene with the box” from Goethe’s Faust. This leads to a cavalcade of comic misunderstandings, absurd conflicts and touching insights that are both entertaining and moving.

After the performance, we offer an artistic conversation with the invited director Staffan Olzon to discuss together shared experiences of artistic processes and power plays during rehearsals. We also want to open up for the audience’s thoughts and reflections with the opportunity to ask questions to the guests.
