Geology at Andrarum's alum mine
Under the expert guidance of professor emeritus Kent Larsson, we learn more about slate, alum, uranium and
oil. At the ruins of the old alum mill, Kent tells about the area's industrial and cultural history. We
also take a closer look at the old shale quarries – you might find some trilobites resting there in one
half a billion years?.

Andrarum's disused alum mill.
At the newly constructed eastern parking lot, which is right next to the ruins of the old alum mill. If you are coming from Eljaröd, then drive up to the right on the road towards Bertilstorp; The parking lot (which is excellent on Google Maps) is on the left after about half a kilometer.
