Celebrate Walpurgisday in Simrishamn on April 30th

Time and place:

Gathering: April 30 at 7:45 PM on the meadow at Tjyvasten (near the intersection of Ehrnbergsvägen/Branteviksvägen).
Bonfire lit: Approximately 8:00 PM.
Spring speech: Sylvia Carlsdotter, head of the Culture School in Simrishamn, child rights strategist and lecturer in children's rights, will give this year's spring speech.
Music: Simrishamn's music band offers musical entertainment.
Sales: Simrishamn's Scouts' Association sells grilled sausages and drinks.

Therefore, there will be no torchlight march

For everyone's safety, we have chosen to skip the torchlight march from this year. Instead, we will meet directly at the bonfire at Tjyvasten, where Simrishamn's music band will play and we will celebrate the arrival of spring together. Because even though it is atmospheric with a torchlight procession, we want to avoid unnecessary risks.
