Guan Hu's Chinese "neo-western" won the main prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival last year and has received several other festival awards around the world. Last week it had its Swedish premiere and on Wednesday 14/5 you can see it at Gylleboverket Folkets Bio!

We meet Lang who returns to his hometown in the Gobi Desert after a long prison sentence. Ahead of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the city is to be cleared of stray dogs. Lang needs money and takes a job as a dog catcher. But most of all he is determined to catch a notorious black greyhound – a real badass among all the city's stray dogs – for which a big reward has been promised. How will it go?
