Ferment with Surtanten
Interest in growing your own food has exploded in recent years and more and more people now want to learn how to make use of seasonal vegetables through fermentation.
During this lecture we meet Jenny "Surtanten" Neikell, author of several award-winning books on fermentation and preservation. Jenny talks about the fascinating fermentation process, different techniques for fermenting vegetables, why it is so useful and what you can eat it for. She also shows how it works in practical terms so you can go straight home and get started.
With over 20 years of experience in fermentation, Jenny is a sought-after and valued lecturer who has the ability to explain the complicated in a simple and inspiring way. After the lecture, Jenny signs her books; The Big Book of Fermentation and Ferment: The Cookbook.
