Milena Bergquist gives voice to the different, the stubborn, the open-hearted, the forgotten, the brave and the vulnerable. She seeks the expression of the soul; that which knocks, burns and throbs. She wants to tell the forgotten, the censored, the lost in the merciless age of consumerism. She wants to tell the stories of the animals, the children and the women. This she has done and continues to do regardless of whether it is as a reporter for Svenska dagbladet, editor for Stockholm City Mission, course leader, lecturer or as a writer. She does it in articles, children's books, non-fiction... She follows life's promptings and writes her life.
