Author visit Cecilia Hansson

Cecilia Hansson is an award-winning author, journalist and translator. Her book Hopeless, but not serious – art and politics in Central Europe takes the reader on a journey through a region where questions of freedom, resistance and censorship are in focus. Through conversations with some of Europe's most prominent intellectuals, she examines not only the conditions of art, but also its significance for social development and the artist's ability to influence public discourse.
