Lecture: Dialects in Österlen

Local history evening with dialect and place name researcher Mathias Strandberg who sheds light on how the language in Österlen has emerged and developed over the centuries - from our Danish times until today!

Mathias is a research archivist at the Institute for Language and Folklore, where he researches southern Swedish dialects and place names.

The event is a collaboration between Glimmingehus, Hembygdskretsen Tumathorp and the Association for the Preservation of Ancient Monuments and Heritage in Southeastern Skåne.
