Welcome to Tjörnedala konsthall to listen to a lecture with Anders Rosell, Forest and nature conservation manager at the Skånska Landskap Foundation. Anders talks about the pastures in a historical perspective and the importance of grazing animals for the biodiversity of the Skåne landscape. The foundation owns and manages large areas of forest and pastures in Skåne where grazing animals actively contribute to developing biological and social values.

No pre-registration is required for the lecture. If you want to participate in the lecture via Zoom, a link will be posted on the website a couple of days before the lecture.

Maximum number of seated guests for the lecture: 40-50 people.

The lecture is given in collaboration between the Skånska Landskap Foundation and Östra Skånes Konstnärsgrupp/Tjörnedala konsthall.

The Skånska Landskap Foundation was formed in 2004 with the mission to protect, preserve, restore and develop natural and cultural environments and to stimulate active outdoor life. The Skånska Landskap Foundation manages approximately 11,000 hectares of forest and other land spread over a large part of Skåne. We practice forestry and take care of the open landscape while preserving and improving biodiversity. We use the forests in a recreational way and take measures that are good for the climate.

We have a mission from Region Skåne to make our lands accessible to visitors. We do this mainly in our 19 hiking areas around Skåne. Here we offer trails of various types and purposes, barbecue areas, viewpoints and more. Nature obvious to everyone is our vision and means that we want to attract visitors to nature. Outdoor life and physical activity in our areas are a way to improve public health. Those who have a natural relationship with nature also often feel a greater commitment to our environment.
