Sophia and Martin will talk about three different gardens and how they have adapted their gardens to promote biodiversity. An old one, Great Dixter, a very young one, Knepp and one located on former industrial land, Church farm. Common to all the gardens is that they all work with aesthetics and biodiversity.
Sophia Calmer and Martin Stoltze run Drakängen, and for almost ten years have worked with meadows and creating gardens with space for both biodiversity and people.
Their background is visual artists educated at the art school in Copenhagen. Since childhood, Martin has been interested in nature and Sophia in gardening.
