Lecture: In the Shadow of the Roman Empire

The Roman Empire had an enormous spread, but the Roman expansion never reached as far as the Nordic countries. Despite this, Nordic society was influenced on many different levels by Roman culture. The speaker Kent Andersson is a doctor and associate professor in archaeology and a prolific author and lecturer in his subject. He has previously worked at Uppsala University and the Historical Museum in Stockholm, among others.
