In the story we follow "Eva -Berglärkan" - a representative of the women who between 1918-1940 were arrested and transported in Sj's specially built prison wagons to the State Forced Labor Institution in Landskrona through the vagrant law.
Songs by Barbro Hörberg are interwoven among authentic texts, letters and journals. Freely based on Eva F Dahlgren's book "Fallna kvinnor - när samhällets botonsats skulla lära sig veta hut".
